If you check the archives you'll find people who sell Minnkota lowers. I
bought some myself but it was ages ago, and I don't have the vendor's
information handy here at the office. But he was a Minnkota dealer who sold
me only the specific parts I needed, and way cheaper than purchasing the
whole motor.

Unfortunately the rule of Mass Production rules. Ii called MinnKota once
about buying the lower unit and it cost more than the whole kit and
caboodle. Kind of like buying car parts.

By the eay, I think Endura motors can be found for around $99. If anyone is
interested I will find an address.
