RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Ballast ratio to subs weight?

I am trying to get a quote, I was going to order it as soon as I received
the price. as I said, ORDERING, not ordered. I was merely going to order the
main hull, I knew what size of hull, I just wasn't sure on the ballast

Sounds like you need a Busby bad!!

How is it you would be ordering steel if you have no idea what it takes to
float or sink a sub? This is serious! It is one thing to scratch out a sub
on paper and not have a clue about the principles of submarines, but it is
entirely another to construct a sub when you have no idea what you are
doing. You could very successfully kill yourself!

I'm sorry to be so harsh. I hope you are fibbing about ordering the steel.
You need to go to the library, or surf the web. Seriously, look in the
archives about all the discussions about "Busby's", I hear there are plenty
for all.
