[PSUBS-MAILIST] Coalbunny's Great White Shark...

Earlier this month, Carl said he'd like a submarine that looked like "Jaws".  OK Carl, I've posted a basic cutaway schematic for such a sub in the picture exchange at http://www.prismnet.com/~moki/subfiles.html

Founded upon a steel pressure hull and frame, the front end of the shark is sculpted in fiberglass, and the tail is comprised of an articulated spar covered in foam and skinned with rubber.  The fins are flexible plastic or the like.

The submarine ("CARCARADON") is propelled by twin E-motors concealed within internal ducts, and also by the swimming action of the tail.

The pectoral fins function as dive planes, and can be raised or lowered into "cruise" or "attack" postures.
