No Carl, you didn't. My mistake. I just emailed you offline to explain.
Time to put this thread to rest.
But let not the valuable aspect of this discussion be lost: anyone having
difficulty getting subscribed to the PSUBS list might try simply copying the
authentication code and pasting it into a message to MAJORDOMO. Worked for
me.
