i would like to now what is the diference  for the k250 and k600

tank you

bruno masse.

K250--  designed for working depth of 250 feet.  Hull is ¼ inch thick, acrylic dome for conning tower.. batteries and air for blowing ballast is on the inside with the “sub driver”.  This gives limited room inside the sub.. about 2500 lbs empty weight.  Designed as 12 volt systems.  2 thrusters.  Max speed about 2 knots.

K600—designed for working depth of 600 feet.  Hull is 3/8 thick, regular steel conning tower with 4 acrylic windows, batteries in separate pods (like the K350’s)= more battery life.. I am not sure where the air tanks are.. empty weight about 4800 lbs.. designed 36 volt systems, 3 thrusters..max speed about 5 knots..

These are the main differences as I remember..
