Indeed. Majordomo can be a major pain in the poop deck if you don't do
things just right. Majordomo is also used by a few other lists I am on,
and it certainly is not faultless.
When using majordomo, follow the instructions to the letter, literally.
If it does not mention a subject line message, leave the subject field
empty. If it asks for "auth473g83y400473" (for example only), then
highlight the auth code, cut it and paste it on to a reply letter.
Remove the " " and make sure you have everything it wants. Which I
found means nothing but the auth code. Now send it.
Give that a try Pat, I hope it works.
