[PSUBS-MAILIST] psychological points for sub design

hi,

Are there some experiences with claustrophobical attacks in very small subs? ( "Sgt. Pepper" size for instance ...)

I´m not so very rich (because I´m an egineer not a sales people :-))
and my girl friend allows me to phone with Carsten but not to build an own sub... until he has finished and become rich and famous ... :-))

So I decide for a small sub design. (maybe It´s easier to hide from my darling the first 30 years...)
If I take into acound that CSSX can be the launchbase no extra surface engine is needed.
The question of the deep. Same as CSSX or more?
What is the sense of an add. smaller sub ?

1. (making outside fotos is much easier..)
2. (the "one man has survive" scenario becomes more authentic..)

Serious.

BIG is diving to 250m. find a gap in the sea bottom. LITTLE leaves his parent ship and explore the gap. LITTLE is searching BIG until the end of the story.... (the so called "I go shopping with my child" effect..)

BIG is surfacing. BIG detected an amazing treasure but is to lazy to attach the "I found it first" place. LITTLE goes down. BIG is drifting away. LITTLE is pretty rich now... but a little bit thirsty...and the ocean is even salty..

Never ever start a design if you are not sure about the purpose !!!  (It could turn out to be a nuclear bomb..)
