Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Mini book review.

Hi IAN,

sorry for my late respond but my work sucked the last feew month....

I´m very interested in such a book!  Does it also contain chapters about FEM-calculations ?
What about a good introduction in the nonlinear buckling theories...?
I´m also a little bit week in math (at least I believe an engineer should be more common with all this nice integrals, differencials and such calc. stuff..)

I´m also looking for good experiments compared with the theorie... The background is that I´m able to calculate any kind of steel pressure hulls with FEM but I have all the time some remaining doubts abaut the results and specially regarding the practical interpretation of the results... (the typical problem of all theorie is the damned praxis... :-))

The special problem are weldings !!!   I´ts not easy to consider this in a calculation...

maybe if you hold on your advise I will also buy this book ( and can use it as a plug when the boot makes water befor we reach the testdeep.... :-))  )
