There is a device which has been around for a few years called the Humidiflyer. I have no idea how the thing works, but it is designed to recycle the moisture from each breath during long airline trips. I was thinking that if the condensation which collects in one's sub during a dive comes mostly from exhaled breath, then this device might be worth looking into. Not only would one need to wipe the viewports less frequently, but one might get better efficiency from one's CO2 scrubber without the power drain associated with a de-humidifier. A cursory search did not reveal the company's website, but if there are any Australians currently subscribed to the list, I would appreciate it if you could check out this telephone number. I'd like to know how to go about buying one of these things, hear if they are too un-comfortable, and see a picture of the product. The only contact information I was able to find follows, as well as where it was found.
Thanks for any help,
Shin
