I tried a 4 foot snorkel with a copper pipe stuck in a float, but I didn't
have enough lung power to suck the air down much deeper than a foot or so. I
guess that's why the diaphragm on a scuba regulator is right next to your
mouth so it knows how much air pressure you need.
