Sorry, this is off-the-wall and won't help you with your
transport problem. But I thought it might prove interesting.
Back when the Berlin Wall came crashing down and the
Soviet Union became a Commonwealth, I got onto a broker's
maillist for surplus technology and materials. I kid you not,
I got solicitations for Russian missile guidance mechanisms...gyros,
satellite stuff, etc. Aircraft trainers "Yaks" the list goes on.
I no longer have the maillist address and I think I have deleted
the old email files. But if anyone here does a search for Russian
Surplus, you just might find some neat devices to outfit a pSub.
