Here as plates about 1 DM or 0,45 dollar a kg steel
= 0,45 dollar / 0,4536 equal to 0,2 dollar a pound..
And if you build bigger subs - you get the steel cheaper.. :-)
I think even if you build a shallow water sub it makes more
sence to purchase a bigger tickness shell and use less or even
no frames than to use a to small in tickness shell
and a hell of frames.. If you use frames in your propane tank -
you must cut in at least in two parts - or make a longitudinal
sail hole longer than the hull diameter ..
