Who's on the Torsk?  I'm plotting a trip there, late this fall, with
a buddy.  

I think we should all try to have mini-conventions at every 
opportunity.  A group of British-canal enthusiasts have GIGs.  
GIG means "Great Internet Get-together," and they have one 
official GIG each year.  However, at any meeting of two of 
them, there is a mini-GIG.  One advanatge they have is that
England has lots of nice pubs, and America (alas!) remains 
a social wasteland in that respect.
