Hey everyone, just got my C-Card.  Woohoo!  It was my third time through the course at age 32.  I took it the first time when I was 12, things were way different back then.  We spent much more time learning.  Started with extensive free diving skills training. Ended with CPR.  BCDs seemed like new equipment back then.  My mother wouldn't let me go on the check out dive though.  Second time I was probably 25 but I didn't get around to the check out dive.

This time I bought a bunch of nice equipment and they let me take the class and check out dive for free.  If anyone needs a support diver, or dive buddy, in the Northeast just let me know.

Now I think I need to take a machine shop and welding class.  Anyone with any advice to give me on how I can find good classes in this in DC?
