You could also try Acetylene or my personal favorite; Hydrogen.
Think about it, Hydrogen is lighter than Helium, Helium is lighter than air,
so logically you should get more ballast blowing ability with Hydrogen than
you would with standard air.
Bonus: You'll fly farther when it goes off, therefore saving battery power
that you would have originally spent to get there.
