You're too far south, try Whiskeytown, our preferred alternate to Lake Shasta.
I live 20 minutes from both lakes.

Oh yeah!  You're up in Trinity County near Redding.  Never actually been to Whiskeytown myself, but I flew over it a few times back when I was working airplanes in the 80's.  Nice country up there. 

To answer your first question, the dorsal fin is also the snorkel. Inside the dorsal is an inflatable
membrane that seals off the snorkel during dives. We used a $5 Harbor Freight flood alarm to trigger
the pneumatic solenoid.

Clever!  Then what?  Breathing off a tank, or burning what's in the engine compartment during short dives?

She sucks fuel like a typical two-stroke floozy and right now we only carry about 3 gallons. But
this is good when you're waiting for your turn to play. Doc
