Ray, The problem seems to be the xls spreadsheet itself. I can't download it either because it gets displayed as text (binary gobbly gook) instead of opening the Excel application or saving to a file. I thought it might be a mime-type issue but I uploaded a test .xls file to psubs and it downloaded just fine. Jon
