I have found a local (to me) supplier of a small portable Oxygen Monitor.  (about 2x4x1 inches)  The sensor is good for 2 years, and can be easily replaced.  It measures O2 in Percent..also has settable min/max oxygen levels, with alarm..  Price is about $500.00 canadian.  (almost nothing US)   If you want any info, their web site is www.gasmonitors.com
