Like Ron said , Kerosen is a good cleaning solvent for moistured or flooded
motors, but I would not put any oil or liquid inside as of pressure
compensation, it would slow down the motor and drain more current due to the
higher viscosity.
Ah viscosity..... I am sure you all watched several times the movie "Abyss",
remember that liquid breathing apparatus, well it is not possible, only
because of viscosity, lungs are not fit to pump liquid but air, and if we
had liquid in our lungs when in the womb we did not pump it but got our
oxygen through the ombilical cord.
