I think I did have a look at the NACA link.  I do have one paper 
about a hydrodynamic analysis of the airship "Macon." 

Right now I'm looking only at resistance friction, not wave drag.
There's no reason I cannot add wave drag, but those calculations
appear to be easier to do than friction calculations. 

My current project is a program to do the math presented in the
Britannica article on ship design.  I have a friction formula there,
too, but it's not the same as the others I've found so far. I think.
I'll be done with this one by the end of the week, probably.
