Attached is the program I wrote.  The formula is in Busby on page 397.
If you want them, I'll send the Visual Basic project and forms.

The spreadsheet you can have, too.  But I keep changing what I'm
testing,
so the real value is the list of boats.  Perhaps I should create a
new version of the spreadsheet, one which has only the basic date 
and a column for the number resulting from Busby's calculation?
