I thought this would be of interest to everybody:

I've been talking to the people at Deep Sea Systems
(http://www.deepseasystems.com), and they make thrusters which couldn't
be more suited to our application- correct size range, correct
voltage/current range, submersible to 2500ft+, control board with fully
porportional control, etc.

The drawback? Try $9,000 each for the THL-404, rated at 3 HP and 100-110
lbs of thrust.

BUT- they do come with a 2 year warranty... :)
