"Despite your admirably twisted humor,"

Hmmm...would that be twisted humor fit for an admiral?  Hey!  I got a promotion!   ;-)

"have you really started painting your submarine?  I seem to remember you were going to detail all the little rivet heads etc."

Good question.  Due to job responsibilities and schedules, my time available for sub-related projects (the videos included) has been all too scarce this year.  However, that's just changed.  I'm on vacation now till the middle of the month; after which I'm changing shifts at work.  Then I should make some real progress during the final quarter of 2000.

"I am anxiously awaiting the release of your video. When will it be available, at what price, and where should I place my order???  I may put it on my list for birthday or Christmas.  Post the info and I'll pass it along to one of the kids or the wife."

Thanks a lot, Dan.  I really appreciate your encouragement and support.  Honestly, all I can say right now is "it will be available when it's finished."  I'll do my best to get it all together before the end of the year, but because I'm not a company in the business of producing videos, I can't guarantee when it will be done.  I'll be making an announcement on PSUBS when the tapes are ready to distribute, and for now, that's about as definite as I can be.

I'm glad you're looking forward to the videos; and really sorry they aren't ready yet.  Life has its priorities, and it always takes me longer to do what I want to do than I wish it does.  (And that's why I haven't accepted any pre-paid orders.)  But I'm hoping any disappointment imposed by the wait will be more than compensated for by a quality program about a unique subject that PSUBBERS will hopefully find interesting.

Keep the faith, Brother Dan; I'm still working on it!   ;-)

Very best regards,

Pat
