Yeah, that's what I was planning on using for my next-gen thrusters. I even
have a couple very tiny rare-earth magnets that I will use as magnetic
switches for external power shut-off.

I would think something simple like acrylic would work well. What I'm
planning on doing (on a much smaller scale) is machining the thruster tube
end cap out of a piece of Delrin rod, but I'm not sure yet what arrangement
of magnets will work best.
