" Or how about a psub rodeo in Hawaii? We've got a connection out there."

If it happens, I'll try to bring the Nautilus. The Big Island would be best
for me, but maybe I can put it on the inter-island barge. Depends on
timing, work commitments, etc. But I've got to warn you guys: it will cost
many thousands of dollars to ship a sub from the mainland to Hawaii and
back.

"I wonder what the airlines would say about our excess luggage? I can see it
now. "Say, young feller, how much does that big box weigh?" Psubber replies
(sheepishly): "....er....2 tons, sir. Is that over the carry on limit?"

Well, I sure wouldn't want to be the airline employee who had to tell
somebody that could lift two tons that he couldn't carry it aboard the
plane! ;-)

"by the way, does any one have an idea for an extendable toung on a
trailer?? dale."

Dale,

Is the extended tongue to get your trailered sub deep enough into the water
to float it on the ramp without submerging your truck? If so, I had the
same problem, and get by really well with a detachable third wheel on the
trailer and a 50' length of steel cable running between the truck and the
trailer. Let me know if you want more info.
