[PSUBS-MAILIST] The one with tractor treads

I scanned those pictures from the old Mechanix Illustrated and sent them to Ray, and they're on the website now at http://psubs.org/pic/tank.html -- even though I have no memory of the context in which I first mentioned them months and months ago.

Apologies if he already mentioned this and I missed it somehow.

I scanned the black-and-white inside pages at a higher resolution to make up for the graininess, and looking back at them it seems like the color cover photo might be nice at a larger size too. If anybody wants a bigger one for any reason, just let me know -- it's not much trouble with my dandy new computer and scanner.

I also have a couple of the issues with the Markham ambient boats, the glass bubble, and others. I also scanned this sweet drawing of the Holland from a kids' book about submarines... http://customer.wcta.net/buchner/sub/Holland1.jpg It's not a P-Sub, but it somehow has this great feel of one. I made it the background on my desktop.
