Not strictly related to our topic here, but definitely seems like our kind of guy. If you haven't heard about this fellow yet, I think it's high time you did...

Not only is this guy building his own rocket, but he's making it LOOK like a spaceship -- an honest-to-gosh, Flash Gordon rocketship.

And, he's got a picture of an odd little quasi-submarine he built awhile back, too. It's remarkably similar, perhaps inspired by, the MI "AquaSub" -- and even has a suspiciously similar name ("HydroSub"? Where do people get these? Maybe I'll call mine "Underwater Sub.") and came out around the same time.

His rocket is also fueled by hydrogen peroxide, so it ties in with THAT thread...
