Thousands of crimes a day are stop with firearms everyday in the United
States...and I don't mean
 by the police. Ask a police officer sometime how many violent crimes he has
stopped...then ask
 him how many times he has showed up on a violent crime after it has
occured!!!!! Not to mention
 the FACT that the right to have and bear arms is to protect US from our own
government.
SO THERE!
