[PSUBS-MAILIST] Murky Water
Hey guys - A question. This has probably
come up before, but how murky is the water in lakes? I saw the Kitteridge
video, where all he could see looks like split pea soup - but I think he was in
a "sound".
I want to use a submarine in the lakes, but I
am afraid that the bottom may be too murky to see. If the surface water is
murky ( first 20 feet ) doesn't it get more clear as you descend?
