Well, I was trying to keep this cat in the bag, but...

Actually, it's a 16-foot steel teardrop hull with a 454 Corvette turning a
drag boat prop, and I'm looking for better than 50 knots, submerged.

I've got the basic hull and the engine; I've computed the fuel and air
consumption requirements; the design numbers work; and I've got the site
picked out.  Figure we'll have to mark off a "flying mile" with lights.  And
as far as that "losing control and bouncing off the bottom" thing goes;
well, we'll just have to make sure we don't lose control, now won't we?
