Thanks for the URL's. I put them in my "favorites" file for future
reference.
As you know, I've been thinking about this sort of thing. An ex-WW-II
Deisel-Boater told me the old steam torpedos could do about 49 knots; but
the problem was the bubble wake they left fingered the location of the sub.
The electric ones were about 29 knots, they said.
About the MK 50: do you (or anyone else) have any idea of what the
approximate horsepower output of the propulsion system might be?
