Depending on list etiquette, if it's not huge it might save you answering any
other individual requests to post it for all too see.
In the OMNI articles there had been a man chosen from among several applicants
to be the first "private astronaut." He was getting the trip for no charge,
presumably as a promotion. The recovery was to be in the Pacific ocean,
included in the cost for later persons. The designer had worked for either the
military or NASA. I'll have to dig the issues out of my attic library to be
more accurate. It was not a homebuilt craft, but a reusable design by a man
with the know-how and credentials. It had been built, at least to the point
that the photos showed what appeared to be a ready-to-go machine.

I wonder if the Volksrocket became SpaceCub? Sounds about right: the
SpaceCub is like the old Viking, and the difference in the value of money
would make the $100K price about $250K after that interval.
