Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] psubs club sub

Believe me, I had only the best of intentions. I have neither the resources
to invest in a time-share psub, or the desire to design and build psubs to
compete on the open market which seems to me the only reason why anyone
would have your concerns about "cheating" or "stealing".
I'am interested in designing and building my own personal submersible with
whatever help and expertise is available with the highest degree of economy
and safety. Here is an example to illustrate my point :
I buy a set of plans to build an environmental friendly cottage on the side
of a hill. Soon enough, I have a new neighbor that buys a parcel of land
ajoining mine. He and his wife drop in to get a closer look at my cottage.
They are very impressed. By and by they express the desire to build a
structure exactly like mine on their own property. Because I'am an
altruistic individual with the desire to help others, I dig out the plans
and tell them,
"Here are the plans to help you get started. Go build your home and enjoy
life my friends."
Is that "cheating" or "stealing"?
Now; if their true desire was to build a whole development of like
structures for profit, that would be an entirely different matter. But
then; if they could afford such an endeavor, they could surely afford to buy
their own set of plans, right?
Could be you and I have different agendas. Regardless, "cheating" and
"stealing" are harsh stinging words. In fact they are hyperbole. Take
care, and enjoy life.
Big D.
