I was lucky enough to go all through that boat when it was up in Seattle in
1968 to film "Octopus Octopus" even went down the observation tube in the
bow. Very small area at the bottom just big enough for a pallet and had a
phone to the bridge.
Was surprised to see the fake fiberglass things that they put on
their doubles to make them look cool! Mr. Costue was up in Alaska at the
time so didn't get a chance to meet him. Crew was very friendly. Had a lot
of playboy mags in the galley.😂
