 Hello Everyone,
This is an update for the 2024 PSUBS Convention.  We are continuing to plan the event but have the following information to share with you.  Please monitor our website at http://www.psubs.org/events/PC2024 for continuing information and updates.
Location:    Block Island, Rhode IslandDates:         Oct 14-18, 2024

LODGING:We have a group rate of $150/night (USD) available at the Block Island Beach House located in New Shoreham, a very short distance from the Ferry launch.   To receive our special lodging rate, either contact the hotel at events at blockislandbeachhouse.com or call the hotel at 401-466-5500 and tell them you are part of the PSUBS group.

ACCESS TO BLOCK ISLAND:Please note the island can be accessed only by ferry.  Each person is responsible for their own transportation from the mainland to Block Island via the Block Island Ferry located at Point Judith, RI.  Please visit the Block Island Ferry website for reservation details.
There are three options available to attendees:

   - Passenger Only.   If you can find a location to leave your vehicle you can take the ferry as a passenger for a very affordable rate.   You could even stay in a hotel on the mainland and ferry back and forth every day for the duration of the convention.

   - Motor Vehicles.   If you are planning on taking your vehicle to the island, rates run between $80-$100 (US) for the round trip.

   - Trailers.   If you are towing a submarine it will be classed as an oversize vehicle and fees are based upon the overall height and length of vehicle and trailer.

ATTENDING SUBMARINES:We currently have three submarines committed to attending the event.
1)  VAST 250 owned and operated by David Colombo (California)2)  Shackleton owned and operated by Alec Smyth (Virginia)3)  Aquatic owned and operated by Jon Wallace (New Hampshire)
We are seeking additional submarines for both diving and static display.  If you or someone you know would like to attend with a submarine please contact us at admin at psubs.org
