Brian,
it used to frustrate me that there were so many AC LED lights out there
& so few DC. There are heaps of dim-able AC lights but I had to get a Chinese
company to make me up a 36V driver with dimming.
Dimming is an asset when you get a lot of back scatter in low visibility.
I have wondered whether you could hack an AC light because they probably
use a rectifier for DC on the LED.
