 Rick, I just did a google search on how well nickel stands up to salt water.  Turns out, it is good.  I am sure SS is better of coarse, butthe reality of owning a P Sub is, they are not in the water much.  I assume you are asking because they are a lot cheaper.  Another realityof owning a Psub, they are expensive.  I assume you will be putting sacrificial anodes on the hull.  I would use them and keep an eye on them.  I admit, I am not as concerned about this as others, that is because I am spoiled in fresh water.  Hank    On Monday, November 30, 2020, 12:51:26 PM MST, Rick Patton via Personal_Submersibles <personal_submersibles at psubs.org> wrote:
