Personally, I think it looks nice. 
If you really don't like it you can always "tone it down" by adding
accents, decals etc. 
While they might not last forever, I think the outdoor vinyl decals
the sell for cars etc. are cheap and easy to install. Lots of fun to
be had! Steve
