I think I have previously suggested that you take a number of floats like 20 litrecontainers that have handles on them for tethering, & any type of weight.That way you can sort out exactly what weight & buoyancy you need &where you need it on your next outing.Cheers Alan

Hi All ,                  Another test down at the boatyard,  I removed a lot of weight from the top of my sub, extra structure that was not needed, and then added that amount of weight in lead to the keel.  Seems very stable now, so that is a good thing.  Also added buoyancy pods to the sides and up front underneath my shell.   Still not enough buoyancy up front, had a friend try and pull up the nose with a rope to determine just how much will be needed, but he was unable to pull the nose up so probably more that 200 lbs of lift will be needed, as well as any weight I can shed .
  I also reworked a few other things,  replaced vinyl tubing for electrical with better type of material,  reworked my hatch dogs, and put some holes in the top of my shell ( that was hard to do after all that work ;-)  )
