I remember a couple of other things, the sub was the trailer as well, I
think you had to unbolt the wheels after launching (or maybe they are
filled tires).
All the viewports looked sketchy to me, I think the small viewport frames
where just guesses based on the front K250 one (I believe he had a copy of
the K250 plans, but not the K350 plans).

Thanks Ian for the information. It was story I had never heard, and I have
lived in this town over 50 years. Not that I'm looking for another
project,  as the SeaQuestor is consuming me right now,  I doubt that my
wife would even let me bring another unfinished project on our property.
