This is a fitting that connects to a 1st stage low pressure port and adapts it to 1/4" NPT. Can be used to connect a scuba cylinder outside of the hull to the valves that blow the MBTs. Low pressure air (140 psi over ambient) goes easier on the valve packing than straight high pressure systems.

Greg,Elementary's hull is 1 inch thick and 48 inches ID  from 516-70 and pressed to meet ABS sphericity rules.  The hatch land is 2 inches thick and conical.   The sphere  is rated for 3,000 feet and tested to 2,800 feet at Nuytco.  I only went to 2,800 feet because that was the chamber limit.Hank_______________________________________________
