Natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, or "rubber" (nitrile etc.)?
The Parker O-ring Handbook has a good material compatibility table. Vaseline is a mixture of heavy hydrocarbon chains, longer than 25 or so. The line item for "Hydrocarbons, Saturated" is probably the closest fit, for which Parker recommends their N0674 material (nitrile) in 70 durometer. Thankfully, these are the most common O-rings you can find.
