Hi Hank,
If you look up "Engineer's Blue" I reckon you'll be able to figure out
something similar.

Basically you put a thin layer of colored non-drying pigment on one piece,
put them together and wherever it doesn't transfer indicates a gap.

Did I mention your flange facing machine is awesome?!
