I have been trying to figure out what grade of steel it is. I figured it was titanium, but when I watched the documentary, they kept saying it was steel. My bust guess is it is HY-100?
Merry Christmas,

Merry Christmas, Scott,
The 43" sphere is steel 2.5" thick. I don't think they have released any information on what grade steel was used. They said a cylinder would have had to be three times as thick to withstand the pressure, but I don't know if that was based on 43". -Jim T.
