Bill,
 As a side note Polycarbonate has a greater affinity for water absorption 
than acrylic and will take on water just sitting around. This water has to be 
baked out before you can form otherwise the water turns into bubbles in the 
material. I believe acrylic has the same problem but to a lesser degree.
