Hello Bill:
Dave here.  How's the progress coming along on you K-250?  Any photos you can share?  Also, where did you obtain your steel?
Just curious.
Good luck,
Big Dave

This is the official update...
I am progressing nicely.. I have the hull welded up.(no end caps). the ribs are all in place, the conning tower reinforcing ring is all formed, and welded in place. The variable ballast tank is all welded, and ready to be installed. (I have burned up 15lbs of 1/8 welding rod so far)   I have ordered the acrylic dome, and was notified on the 16th that it was formed, and almost ready to be shipped.  I have purchased 2 motoglide trolling motors, 36lbs thrust each, that I hope to use for propulsion, if I can figure out a way to make them work.. I also have the 2 skids cut out, just need to be welded up.  I have bought the depth gauge, and the 2 scuba tanks (steel 64cu/ft) and will be making the brackets for them.  I hope to buy the end caps for the hull soon, and am in the process of  locating the proper valves for the ballast tanks etc.

by the way , I got the metal from Mclevin steel, in Red Deer Alberta.. they were very helpful, although suprised at what it was for..!!!!

I do have some photos, and will scan  a few of the good ones, and send them to ray, and see if he can post them..
