Re: depth gauges
Well, as far as I'm concerned, I'd go for the coolness factor as
far as periscopes and depth gauges go. I agree that a diver's depth
gauge would look kind of cheesy strapped to the outside of a window. I
had a crazy idea-what about a fish finder? Run the cable thru the
pressure hull to the LCD display inside. See objects in the water and
some have a depth mode so you could get a sounding to the bottom.
Would it work?
