Refurbishing it for personal use would cost about $1000 plus batteries. But 
it would still weigh 10 ton. This is no "Ugly Tugly" but a "Pudgy Tugly". I 
was thinking of using the pressure hull and building a lighter but less 
capable structure around it. As is, a crane barge would be needed every time 
to get it in and out of the water. I am a commercial diver and was hoping to 
use it on a job someday or a treasure/historical hunt. But found out the 
plexi dome ($22,000) would need replacing among other things to get its cert 
(ABS age limit).
