I like anything that will get folks in the water, whether it's Ginger hunting 
history in the lakes or Phil Nuytton under the ice (again). Sleds are neat 
and simple. Rubikoff had a biggish DPV (sort of torpedo with wings, sonar, 
and silver-zinc batteries!) and the tow and go method you described was used 
fairly often (so say the books). They used to build the things down here in 
Florida and they were beautiful. Beautifully made and beautifully expensive. 
Sort of your idea only gold plated and diamond encrusted.
