FYI: Re: Visit in June (Fwd)

Hi,

I am in England again. I asked The Royal Navy Submarine
Museum if I could photograph the inside of the X-24. Below is their
reply. I hope things go well.

Next week I am going to the Netherlands for a few days with my
family. Any Psub related sites there to see?

Regards,
Ray

Dear Mr Keefer
Thank you for you two e mails. I had passed the first e mail to our Curator
but he is fairly busy at the moment and did not get around to making a
decision, hence the delay in answering.

As public relations/customer services come under my remit It has come back
to me for a reply.

I have had a word with the site supervisor and she will be expecting you on
Sunday 20th June. I have arranged for you to be able to gain access to the
inside of the X24 with the view to taking some photographs. I must state
that but there is a health and safety implications here so we must disclaim
any liability for mishaps. I am afraid that there is no way that you can
get inside the Biber craft as the hatch is sealed with a manakin inside.

I hope you enjoy your visit
Yours sincerely,

George Malcolmson
Business Services Manager.
